The Dolby Theatre is a world-famous entertainment venue located on Hollywood Boulevard in the heart of Hollywood Los Angeles. It is best known as the permanent home of the Academy Awards ceremony where the Oscars have been held since 2002.

The theatre features a grand elegant design with advanced sound and stage technology and seating for more than three thousand spectators. Its architecture was created to host large scale live performances television broadcasts and major cultural events.

Beyond the Oscars the Dolby Theatre hosts concerts Broadway style shows film premieres and special events throughout the year making it one of the most important and prestigious performance venues in Hollywood.

5. Hollywood Walk of Fame

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a major symbol of the entertainment industry. It stretches for about one point three miles along Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street and features more than two thousand seven hundred stars embedded in the sidewalks.

Each star is made of pink terrazzo with a brass border measures about ninety centimeters in diameter and weighs roughly one hundred and thirty kilograms. The stars honor achievements in five official categories of the entertainment industry.

The five categories are:

• Motion Pictures

• Television

• Recording

• Radio

• Live Theatre or Live Performance.

Each category is represented by a unique icon displayed inside the star.

The Walk of Fame was established in 1958, and the first stars were installed in 1960. Today it attracts an estimated ten million visitors every year and is located near major landmarks such as the TCL Chinese Theatre the Dolby Theatre and the Dolby Theatre making it a central highlight of any visit to Hollywood.

6. Crypto.com Arena

Crypto.com Arena is a major sports and entertainment arena located in downtown Los Angeles.

Opened in 1999 and formerly known as the Staples Center, it was renamed in 2021 after a naming rights deal with the cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com.

The arena has a seating capacity of around twenty thousand for basketball games and slightly more for concerts and special events. It serves as the home venue for the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers, the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings, and the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks.
